Overview

Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the oldest and largest Parks in Uganda on top of being the most famous Savannah Park. It has over 600 bird species and 70 mammal species. It is bisected by the Kazinga Channel where boat rides take place amidst a pool of Hippos and Nile Crocodiles, water birds and herds of Buffaloes and Elephants that occasionally come to drink water. Look out for Leopards, Lions, Defassa Waterbucks, Warthogs, Kobs, among others.

Day 1

  • Pick up early morning from your hotel or home and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • First stop over at Kayabwe, the Equator monument.

  • Second stop over in Mbarara, for lunch.

  • Hotel/lodge check in Mweya Safari Lodge OR Ihamba Safari Lodge 0R Elephant Plains Lodge

    Lunch and Dinner

Day 2

  • Early morning Game drive with packed breakfast.

  • After Game drive, return to the hotel for Lunch

  • Prepare for an Afternoon boat cruise at 2:00PM

  • Rest and relaxation in the evening.

  • Mweya Safari Lodge OR Ihamba Safari Lodge 0R Elephant Plains Lodge

  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3

  • Breakfast then early morning Game drive

  • Set off for Kampala through Fort Portal

  • Mweya Safari Lodge OR Ihamba Safari Lodge 0R Elephant Plains Lodge
